Capcom has announced a March 12, 2009 release date for Resident Evil 5 in Japan and March 13, 2009 date for North America and Europe at Microsoft's E3 press conference. During the debut of a new Resident Evil 5 gameplay video, it was announced that the game will feature online cooperative play. Players will be able to hop-in-and-out and teams will be able to do moves that they couldn't do by themselves. Joining Chris Redfield is a new team member in Shiva Olimar.
